Key Components of Student Services
-
Counseling Services: Our school counselors provide individual and group counseling to support students' academic, social, and emotional well-being. They offer
guidance on academic planning, career exploration, personal development, and crisis intervention, helping students navigate challenges and achieve their goals.
-
Health Services: Our school nurses and health aides promote the health and wellness of students by providing health screenings, administering medications, managing
chronic health conditions, and promoting healthy behaviors. They collaborate with families, healthcare providers, and community resources to support students' physical and mental
health needs.
-
Social and Emotional Learning (SEL): We prioritize social and emotional learning as an essential component of student success. Our SEL initiatives promote
self-awareness, self-management, social awareness, relationship skills, and responsible decision-making, fostering a positive school climate and supporting students' social and
emotional development.
- Behavior Intervention and Support: Our behavior intervention specialists work with students, families, and educators to address behavioral challenges and promote positive behavior through evidence-based interventions and supports. We emphasize proactive strategies, positive reinforcement, and restorative practices to create a safe and supportive learning environment for all students.
