Sarah is the Network Tech Assistant for CUSD1. Between repairing Chromebooks for the various schools, she also assists teachers and staff with their technology issues. She battles printer predicaments, wrangles run-away iPads, and praises the art of restarting regularly (while briefly attempting alliteration). Sarah started working in the Tech Department at CUSD1 in March 2021, and a few months later completed her Associate’s degree in Information Technology at Lewis and Clark Community College. Sarah was first introduced to the Carlinville area in 2020 when she had a summer internship at MJM Electric, where she assisted in setting up the technology for their new location while they were relocating. One of her favourite experiences from that internship was daring her fear of heights by driving a motorized man-lift.

Sarah was overjoyed to have the opportunity to again work in the Carlinville area with CUSD1 and loves using her skills and ingenuity to help the students, teachers, and staff of the district with their technology needs!
