Principal for Grades 3-5 Intermediate School (Illinois Licensed)

Description:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced educator to join our team as Principal for our 3rd-5 th
Grade Elementary. The successful candidate will be a visionary leader who is committed to fostering a positive
learning environment, promoting academic excellence, and ensuring the social-emotional well-being of our
young students.

Responsibilities:

- Provide instructional leadership to ensure high-quality teaching and learning experiences for students.
- Develop and implement curriculum and instructional strategies that align with state standards and best
practices in early childhood education.
- Foster a positive school culture.
- Establish and maintain positive relationships with students, staff, parents, and the community.
- Lead professional development initiatives to support the growth and development of teachers and staff.
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the school, including budget management, scheduling, and
facilities maintenance.
- Implement data-driven practices to monitor student progress and inform instructional decision-making.
- Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations related to education.

Qualifications:

- Master’s Degree in Education or related field.
- Illinois Principal License (Type 75) or equivalent administrative certification.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in K-12 education, with a focus on early childhood or elementary
education.
- Demonstrated leadership ability and experience in school administration or instructional leadership
roles.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Knowledge of current trends and best practices in early childhood education.
- Commitment to continuous improvement and professional growth.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
