Marcy Welsh
Marcy Welsh has been a dedicated educator since 2001 supporting students with special needs. She began her career in education teaching early childhood through 6th-grade special education in Panhandle, Hillsboro, and Carlinville school districts. Marcy later transitioned to a position with Mid-State Special Education as a behavior specialist, where she had the opportunity to positively impact students and teachers across multiple districts.
In 2011, Marcy joined the Carlinville school district full-time as a special education teacher. Throughout her time at Carlinville, she has taught in various settings, including self-contained behavior, early childhood, life skills, and high school special education. Marcy thrives in environments where she can form meaningful connections with students and empower them to reach their full potential.
Beyond the classroom, Marcy enjoys spending time with her family, indulging in reality tv, exploring new destinations, and growing her small business, Collected.
