Kelly Kaganich
Kelly began her teaching career in 1991 teaching first grade after graduating from Southern Illinois University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education. After four years, Kelly moved to third grade where she taught for nine years. During this time, she obtained her Master's Degree in Elementary Education from Southern Illinois University at Edwardsville. Kelly currently teaches second grade where she has been for twenty years. She is passionate about ensuring that all students are learning and growing and sets high expectations for her students. She is committed to her students and loves seeing how they grow to become independent learners and readers. In 2022, Kelly was recognized as the Teacher of the Year. Kelly is a member of the Carlinville Area Hospital Auxiliary where she serves as the Membership Chair. In her free time she enjoys spending time with her family and friends and attending her son's many sporting events. Kelly is proud to have spent her entire teaching career as a Carlinville Cavalier.
