Karen Eaves
With over a decade of teaching experience that spans from Early Childhood Education to working as an adjunct faculty member at Harris-Stowe State University, Mrs. Eaves’ educational journey has been quite an adventure. Having earned her Bachelor's and Master's degrees from Webster University, Mrs. Eaves is a firm believer in the power of lifelong learning. Her academic background equips her with the knowledge and skills to engage and empower students in their life pursuits. Mrs. Eaves encourages her students to think critically about the world around them, to make good choices in life, and to take joy in the little things that life offers. Beyond academics, Mrs. Eaves’ interests are as diverse as they are captivating. As a certified scuba diver, she embraces adventure and discovery, whether it's exploring the depths of the ocean or trekking through the wilderness. Her love for the outdoors extends to her hobbies, where she finds joy in crocheting adorable animal plushies and blankets, a skill she eagerly shares with her students. When she is not enjoying the great outdoors or hyper-focused on the most current crochet project, you can find her curled up alongside her pets with a cup of hot tea reading a book, or watching a movie.
