Jennifer Belusko graduated from Illinois State University in 2003 with a Bachelor's in Elementary Education. She began her career as an Instructional Aide in 2nd grade at Carlinville Primary School in 2004. The following year, she moved to a fourth-grade teaching position at Carlinville Intermediate, where she stayed for six years. In 2011, Jennifer moved back to the Primary School to teach third-grade until 2015 when she switched to first-grade. Jennifer has been teaching first grade at CPS ever since. In 2022, Jennifer earned her Early Childhood Education Endorsement in an effort to bring the most child-centered practices to her teaching.
