Early Childhood Teacher Position

Carlinville CUSD#1 is seeking applicants for an Early Childhood Teacher beginning the 25-26 school year. Candidates must hold an Illinois Professional Educator License issued through the Illinois State Board of Education, with an Early Childhood Endorsement for grades K-3 if issued before 9/20 or grades K-2 if issued after 9/20; an Elementary Endorsement for grades K-5 if issued before 9/19. Candidates also holding an endorsement in English as a Second Language or English as a New Language Pre Kindergarten through 12 is desirable but not required. Certification or endorsements in other areas and grade levels are also beneficial.
Carlinville CUSD#1 is looking for an individual with exceptional verbal and written communication skills, technology competency, leadership potential, ability to work with others, and strong instructional skills. Experience working with young children is desirable. In addition to teaching duties, the individual employed will be required to serve on school and district-wide committees.
