Carlinville Middle School is seeking applicants for the position of a Mathematics teacher. Candidates for this position need to hold or be completing licensure through the ISBE and meet high-qualified status. Licensure to teach mathematics, including a middle school endorsement, is desirable, but we will also consider applicants with an elementary license for grades K-9 or 1-6. Additional licensure and endorsements in other teaching areas is encouraged.

Carlinville CUSD#1 is looking for an individual with exceptional skills related to instructional practices, strong verbal and written communication skills, leadership potential, flexibility and willingness to learn, and ability to work with others. In addition to the aforementioned attributes, the candidate will be expected to possess strong instructional skills, be a positive constructive member of the CHS faculty and staff, and work collaboratively with parents. Technology skills are desirable. Furthermore, in addition to teaching duties, the individual employed will be required to serve on school and district-wide committees. Opportunities for coaching and club sponsorship may also exist.

Carlinville CUSD#1 offers a starting salary of $43,887 (Year 1, Step 1). Benefits include comprehensive health insurance and family coverage options, as well as optional dental and vision plans.
