Ashley Mullen
FCS Teacher
Ashley is a compassionate and goal-oriented educator with experience in public education since 2009. She attended Eastern Illinois University and earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and Secondary Social Science Education with MLE and CTE endorsements, and a Master's Degree in Educational Administration.
Ashley dedicates time to the CTE student organization Family, Career, and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA) and mental health organizations while serving on the IDPH Suicide Prevention Task Force. She was honored by receiving a 2024 Those Who Excel Award of Meritorious Service. She is committed to the social-emotional wellbeing of her students and enjoys helping them find their unique passions and pathways.
Ashley lives in Waggoner with her family and two dogs. She loves nature, cooking and baking, gardening, and traveling. A priority of hers is continuing to improve and adapt personally and professionally in order to benefit students and the school-community. Ashley encourages her students to “Choose Joy” and believe “You’re the Boss, Applesauce.”
